Reiki Courses

Reiki 1 Shoden (First degree)
What can I expect?
Reiki 1 is all about you becoming familiar with Reiki Energy and allowing yourself to experience the wonderful flow of Energy through, self treatments, your food and Reiki Shares.

Key Benefits
Once you’ve been attuned to Reiki, it never goes away. You will always carry the ability to allow Reiki to flow from you. You will learn about the fascinating history of Reiki. The key hand positions for a self treatment, and how to ‘feel’ Energy

How long does the course last?
1 full day, 9am – 4.30pm Usually, Reiki courses are taught over a weekend.

What is the training structure?
You will be taught in a small group of normally 4-6 people. Learning is via a mixture of discussion, practical hands on sessions and meditations
You will undertake a 21 day reflection period in which time you will ideally perform daily self treatments to allow the Reiki Energy to flow through your body

How will I feel after the course?
Some people say that they feel very detached from the world whilst undertaking a Reiki course, and that returning to ‘normal life’ can become very daunting and loud. Therefore we always recommend that you are kind to yourself for the first few days. Drink plenty of water and ensure that you are able (if possible) to rest and enjoy plenty of quiet time.

Reiki 2 Okuden (second degree)
What can I expect?
Reiki 2 is about you becoming attuned to additional Reiki Energy, to pass on the knowledge that will allow you to perform Reiki treatments on others and enhance your personal tools. If you desire additional case studies can be undertaken and you can achieve the grade of Practitioner

You will learn 3 Reiki symbols that will enhance your Energy work
You will learn the hand positions for a full treatment, chair treatment and distance healing

One full day, 9am – 4.30pm Usually, Reiki courses are taught over a weekend.

What is the training structure?
You will be taught in a small group of normally 4-6 people. Learning is via a mixture of discussion, practical hands on sessions and meditations. Please note that Inner Spiritual Journey complies with the National Occupational Standards and therefore will not recognise anyone as a Reiki Practitioner if Levels 1 and 2 have been taught at the same time. There must be a minimum of 3 months between each level being taught

Third degree – Master Teacher
What can I expect?
Master training is the final step, although you never stop expanding your knowledge with Reiki, this is the final teachable aspect
Key Benefits
Once you’ve been attuned to Reiki, it never goes away. You will always carry the ability to allow Reiki to flow from you.
You will be taught the final Master symbol which will enable you to teach and attune others to Reiki Energy

How long does the course last?
1 full day, 9am – 4.30pm Usually, Reiki courses are taught over a weekend.
Followed by a six month probationary period which will allow you time to adjust to becoming a Master and hopefully in this time you will attune at least one other person and produce case studies which will be discussed

What is the training structure?
Master training is usually taught on a 1-1 basis. Learning is via a mixture of discussion, practical hands on sessions and meditations

Therefore we always recommend that you are kind to yourself for the first few days. Drink plenty of water and ensure that you are able (if possible) to rest and enjoy plenty of quiet time.

Reiki Refresher Days

You may have already completed your Reiki One or Two degree. However life sometimes takes over, and with the best intentions  you may not be able to practice your Reiki as often as you’d like. Or perhaps something just didn’t sit right with you whilst you were training, and a few years have pasted since you completed your training. You’d like to start using your Reiki again, but you’ve no idea where to start!

Well that’s where our Refresher Days come in.

A focused day where will re-visit your desired level of Reiki, re-learn the basics, re-discover your love of Reiki and most importantly allow you to re-connect.

There won’t be any attunements during the day, as you’ve already received your attunement through your Master, what we will have is a ‘Reiju Ceremony’ or a Reiki Blessing ceremony

Meditation Teacher Training

What can I expect?
Meditating has been proven to benefit not only physical, but emotional and mental well-being. Allow the meditatee to become a more healthy person of whole.
During the course you will undertake multiple guided meditations, as well as produce your own meditation.

Learn the process and importance of creating a sacred space or altar

How long does the course last?
Full day training 9.00am – 4.00pm

What is the training structure?
Intense theory based course, giving detailed information that will be required to allow you to teach others how to Meditate. This course can be taught in a small group or on a 121 basis

How will I feel after the course?
Meditating has a massive impact on our well-being, therefore you will leave the course lifted and in an positive frame of mind, which will hopefully continue as you implement new and positive process in your life.

In order for your teaching certificate to be issued you will need to complete your Teaching Log.

Please be aware this is a Teaching Certificate, this entitles you to teach others how to meditate. It does not entitle you to teach others to teach

Mindfulness masterclass Courses

What can I expect?
Mindfulness can seem a daunting skill to master, however taking it back to it’s simplest form it is a very easy form to meditation to practice.

Key Benefits
During this Masterclass you will learn the fundamental principle behind Mindfulness and practice the skills associated with the practice, including the Mindfulness Breath Meditation and the full Mindfulness Body Scan Meditation

How long does the course last?
Half day session – normally 4 hours

What is the training structure?
This Masterclass can be taught on an individual basis or in a group of upto 6 people

How will I feel after the course?
Meditating has a massive impact on our well-being, therefore you will leave the course lifted and in an positive frame of mind, which will hopefully continue as you implement new and positive process in your life
